Fredrico Anthony, a native of Washington, NC, grew up in a Christian household. Both his parents and his grandparents instilled Christian values in him that remain until this very day. At the age of 14, Fredrico began playing the piano by ear and would often mimic the chords he heard in church or on the radio. It was evident very early that God had gifted Fredrico for His glory.

In 2000, he moved to Newport News, VA, and worked for MCI WorldCom as a sales representative until he was promoted to sales supervisor one year later. While working at MCI, “Rico,” as he is affectionately called, studied and applied the leadership principles of John C. Maxwell, and his own unique leadership style evolved. After the demise of MCI in 2004, he moved back to North Carolina and in October became the organist/musician for Davenport Temple Church of God in Christ in Washington, NC, under the leadership of Bishop Leroy Jackson Woolard. It was at Davenport Temple that Rico learned the importance of establishing a personal relationship with God. After prayer and seeking God for his purpose in life, Rico enrolled at Full Sail University; and in October 2014, he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Music Production. In February 2016, Rico graduated with his Mater of Science in Entertainment Business Degree.

With over 21 years of music ministry experience, Rico now serves as the chief musician/organist at Davenport Temple. He is the co-owner of TrueVine Production, a company founded in 2014. His favorite quote is, “If you change your mind, you change your life,” by William James.
